Multinational engineering firm RINA on April 30 announced that it has hired Joe Ivanyo as a Senior Program Manager within the firm’s Rail & Transit Group. Ivanyo brings more than 30 years of progressive experience in rail engineering, signal systems and large-scale program delivery across public agencies and Class I railroads. A proven leader in the transportation space, he has directed complex capital programs exceeding $400 million, including federally mandated Positive Train Control (PTC) deployment and multi-state passenger rail corridor expansions, “consistently delivering outcomes in highly regulated, stakeholder-intensive environments,” the firm noted. “We are excited to welcome Joe to our transportation group,” said Carole Morey, North America Infrastructure & Mobility Vice President at RINA. “His deep technical expertise and proven operational leadership in signal systems and construction oversight will be a significant asset as we continue to scale and strengthen our rapidly expanding Rail & Transit Group at RINA.” Previously, Ivanyo served as Associate Vice President and Rail Group Director at AECOM Technical Services in Chicago, leading rail engineering consulting services including studies, design, construction and program management for major U.S. rail clients. Earlier in his career, Ivanyo served as Chief Engineer at CSX Transportation, where he led the organization’s engineering discipline function.
