Former Sky Sports presenter Sophie Blake has partnered with For My Encore, a digital platform that helps people record and share personal memories, favourite places, books, and defining life moments, as part of Dying Matters Awareness Week. Sophie, who is living with advanced breast cancer, is using the platform to document key moments from her life and to encourage more open, honest conversations about death, dying, and what matters most. Working alongside her daughter Maya, Sophie has been creating a shared record of her life that captures meaningful memories and experiences. The platform allows Maya to explore parts of her mother’s life she hasn’t previously seen, including early influences, career highlights, and the woman Sophie was before becoming a mum! Sophie Blake said, “I’ve spent years telling other people’s stories. This is the first time I’ve really taken the time to tell my own. ‘For My Encore’ has given me a way to capture the memories and moments that matter most to me, and to share them with Maya while I can.” Nick Annetts, Founder of For My Encore, said, “Dying Matters Awareness Week is about encouraging people to talk openly about death and dying. Sophie’s story shows how reflecting on your life can help you focus on what truly matters and create something lasting for those you love.” The post Former TV Presenter Sophie Blake Partners With For My Encore During Dying Matters Awareness Week appeared first on .
