Dardanelle and Russellville Railroad is located within the Arkansas River Valley’s robust industrial center while Ouachita Railroad, and Camden & Southern Railroad serve Southern Arkansas’s commodity customers. Operation of the newly acquired lines is expected to begin June 1. The acquisition, the company says, is OmniTRAX’s entry into “a vibrant new economic market.” Over the past five years, Arkansas’s cumulative economic growth is 40% above the national average. Under the new ownership agreement, Danny Robbins and Michael Robbins will join the OmniTRAX team and manage rail operations of the newly acquired railroads.
