Italian luxury label Roberto Cavalli has a new home. The company is now nestled under global brand management Marquee Brands’ portfolio. On Wednesday, Marquee Brands entered a definitive agreement for a majority stake in Roberto Cavalli in partnership with Dubai-based luxury real estate developer DAMAC Group.”Roberto Cavalli stands as one of luxury’s defining Italian houses, with a bold creative identity and enduring brand ethos,” Marquee Brands CEO Heath Golden said in a statement. “We see extraordinary potential to build on that foundation through thoughtful brand stewardship and strategic expansion. In partnership with DAMAC, a leader in luxury real estate, we will continue to elevate the Roberto Cavalli experience worldwide.”Roberto Cavalli is now the 22nd brand (and the lone luxury label) in Marquee Brands’ portfolio, which also includes Martha Stewart, Laura Ashley, Sur La Table, BCBGMAXAZRIA and Stance. The undisclosed transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026. DAMAC Group will remain a “significant shareholder” once the deal is finalized, according to a press release.
