The private equity firm Greenbriar Equity Group L.P. today said it has acquired eShipping, a Missouri-based provider of managed transportation, logistics, and supply chain technology solutions.Founded in 2004, eShipping says its solutions span less-than-truckload, full truckload, fulfillment, international freight forwarding, customs brokerage, and small parcel. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.“eShipping has built a highly differentiated managed transportation platform supported by strong technology, deep operational expertise, and a seasoned leadership team,” Michael Wang, Managing Director at Greenwich, Connecticut-based Greenbriar, said in a release. “The Company’s innovative, technology-driven approach to transportation management helps customers gain greater control and optimize their supply chains across all shipping modes.”
