Dr Marcia Ostashewski is the founding director of the Centre for Sound Communities at Cape Breton University in Canada, an arts-based social innovation hub that uses collaborative, participatory ethnomusicology research to work with and support equity-deserving communities and facilitate decolonisation and reconciliation within the music industry.
