Procurement tech provider SpendHQ today said it has acquired an Illinois firm called Sligo AI in a move to deliver configurable agentic artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities in enterprise procurement.Atlanta-based SpendHQ, which says it offers enterprise spend intelligence and procurement performance management, said the new approach could enable systems that can do more than just generate insights, and actually execute work across entire procurement workflows.That capability is needed because procurement teams are under pressure to deliver cost savings, supply chain resilience, ESG compliance, and risk reduction simultaneously, with leaner teams and less time, the firm said.
