Ziggi’s Coffee is entering its next phase of growth, bringing on QSR industry veterans Darren Spicer and Betsy Hamm to support the brand’s continued expansion. As the company celebrates 10 years of franchising in 2026, Ziggi’s is building on more than 20 years as a brand, focusing on scaling with intention by investing in the systems, structure and leadership needed to support long-term, sustainable growth across its expanding footprint. The move reflects a deliberate effort to learn from experienced operators who have successfully navigated high-growth environments. Spicer, founder and former CEO of Clutch Coffee Bar, brings recent, hands-on experience scaling a drive-thru coffee concept in today’s competitive beverage landscape. He grew the brand from a single location to more than a dozen units before its acquisition by Dutch Bros and now advises emerging and growth-stage concepts through his firm, 110 Ventures. At Ziggi’s Coffee, he will serve as a consultant, supporting store-level performance, training and local marketing initiatives, while also providing insight on new store development and market-level growth. “This is an exciting time to join Ziggi’s,” said Spicer. “The brand has built a strong foundation and clear identity, and there’s a lot of opportunity ahead.
