The Society for Laboratory Automation and Screening (SLAS; IL, USA) 2026 European Conference and Exhibition convenes later this month (19th to the 21st of May) in Vienna, Austria, welcoming attendees and exhibitors from across the life science ecosystem. Building on conversations from the flagship International Conference and Exhibition in Boston earlier in the year, SLAS Europe presents a program focused on advances in drug discovery, laboratory automation and screening applications. Expect more cutting-edge lab technologies, scientific sessions, presentations and networking opportunities. We have partnered with the conference’s official media coordinator, Zyme Communications (Cambridge, UK), to highlight a number of sessions and features worth adding to your agenda. Pre-Conference This year’s program opens with a Technology Provider Showcase at the Vienna BioCenter, providing attendees the opportunity to engage with local lab automation and biotech companies through in-person, interactive sessions and live demonstrations. The showcase includes a presentation from the Vienna BioCenter Core Facilities, alongside opportunities to tour laboratories and observe workflows in real time from Akribes Biomedical, Myllia, and Beckman Coulter Life Sciences (all Vienna, Austria). If you’re keen to attend the Showcase, all attendees must register separately.
